The Center on Rosser is a Non-profit

ree

Our story goes back to 1983, when The Center first became a non-profit dedicated to serving the Prescott community. From the very beginning, our focus has been on creating activities, classes, and events that support overall well-being and bring people together.

Over the years, we’ve grown and adapted to fit the needs of our ever-changing community. Today, you’ll find everything from family-friendly events like craft fairs, egg hunts, pet fairs, and dances, to weekly classes for all ages. Whether it’s line dancing, exercise, or learning a new language, there’s something for everyone here at The Center.

One thing we hear a lot is that people assume The Center is run by the City of Prescott. While the city does own and maintain our building, everything else (from classes to staff to day-to-day operations) is run by us, a local non-profit. That means every dollar you spend here, whether through memberships, event reservations, or business partnerships, goes right back into supporting the community. It also helps us keep our events & classes affordable and our doors open.

We’d love for you to come visit and see what’s happening! We’re always adding new programs and opportunities. Your support is more than just a membership, it’s a way to help provide a fun, healthy, and welcoming space for years to come.

So why not join us? Take a class, teach a class (fitness, art, language—sky’s the limit!), or simply stop in and become part of something bigger.

The Center isn’t just a place — it’s a community, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
